New Update Announcement

2026-05-22 01:00

Hello Commanders.

Many Commanders have shared various opinions with us regarding the currently ongoing Race to Berlin content.

In particular, following the three-way server matching system, we have continued to receive feedback that the city connection structure limits the range of strategic choices available.

We are also taking a closer look at the current Berlin Conquest structure, with a focus on creating more opportunities for strategic decisions and meaningful combat progression throughout the event. We are paying close attention to the fact that once the early advantage shifts toward a specific server, the range of strategic choices and opportunities for active engagement may become more limited.

Accordingly, we are preparing improvements so that victory is not determined solely by differences in combat power between servers. Instead, we aim to make server teamwork and strategic movements through various routes play a more important role.

Please read on for details.

▶ Race to Berlin Improvement Direction

The direction currently under review is to improve the Berlin Conquest system by moving away from the existing structure, where the final occupation result carried significant weight, and shifting toward a format where strategic management plays a more important role in achieving victory in Race to Berlin.

Accordingly, we are working on adjusting the current victory structure so that Commanders can receive more meaningful rewards based on their level of contribution to Race to Berlin.

▶ Changes to the Berlin Conquest System

The Berlin Conquest system in Race to Berlin will be changed to a point-based system.

Previously, victory was determined by maintaining occupation for 30 minutes or by occupying Berlin until the end of the event. Under the new system, a “Server Contribution” feature will be added so that not only occupation status, but also Commanders stationed in Berlin can continuously contribute to their server’s victory.

Race to Berlin rankings will be determined based on accumulated points.

As a result, the weight of each Commander's participation will become even more significant, and organic cooperation across the server, along with strategic frontline management, is expected to play a much more important role in Berlin Conquest.

In addition, the final winning server of Race to Berlin will be determined based on cumulative Berlin point contributions.

▶ Increased Personal Participation Rewards for Berlin Conquest

In order to provide more meaningful rewards to Commanders who actively participate in Race to Berlin, the Berlin Conquest rewards will be improved.

Personal rankings will be determined based on the contribution points earned through participation in Berlin Conquest, and personal rewards will be distributed differently depending on the final ranking of each server.

*Commanders who have not participated in Berlin Conquest will not receive Berlin Contribution rewards.

*If your server achieves 1st place, contribution rankings will be calculated within the 1st place server. Likewise, if your server achieves 2nd place, contribution rankings will be calculated within the 2nd place server.

*The images shown are for reference only, and rewards may be subject to change.

▶ Expansion of Strategic Elements

Race to Berlin was designed to provide a different kind of strategic gameplay from the main server.

However, as mentioned above, we have confirmed situations where certain servers may have difficulty smoothly participating in Berlin Conquest after the early battle for initiative, as the connected starting-city routes become blocked.

Accordingly, we are working on improvements to help ease situations where participation in battles becomes difficult for specific servers due to movement route restrictions.

As the starting cities were originally structured with a single movement route, the flow of the battlefield could become fixed too quickly. To address this, we have expanded the initial region’s single route into three separate routes, as shown in the image below, allowing Commanders to make use of more diverse movement and entry paths.

Through this improvement, we aim to enable more strategic frontline operations during the advance toward Berlin.

▶ New Cities Added

To further strengthen the strategic flow of Race to Berlin, three new Towns that increase Ground Force Travel Speed have been added.

The newly added cities are Paris, Bucharest, and Minsk. Occupying these cities will enhance the mobility of Ground Force.

As unit movement and operations will now be faster and more dynamic than before, strategic planning based on the location of each city and movement routes is expected to become increasingly important.

▶ Quality of Life Improvements

During Race to Berlin, we identified cases where it was difficult to distinguish between the colors of occupied territories and competing servers when switching maps. To improve visibility and make identification more intuitive, the color display system will be adjusted.

The matched server’s flag color and the surrounding territory color of cities will now be displayed consistently, and overall visibility will be improved through the use of 3 to 4 clearer single-color-based themes.

▶ Aircraft Max Level Expansion & Engine Modification Added

In order to further strengthen your air power, the maximum Aircraft level will be expanded from Level 35 to Level 45.

Through this update, we hope to provide a new growth objective for Aircraft.

In addition, once an Aircraft reaches Level 45, you will be able to proceed with “Engine Modification” for further enhancement.

Through the max level expansion and the new Engine Modification system, we hope you will experience even fiercer battles with more powerful Aircraft.

Please note that the information shared above is still under development, and certain details may be adjusted during the actual implementation process depending on balance considerations and the overall flow of battles.

We will also continue to carefully review the feedback shared by Commanders as we work to create a more enjoyable and strategic Race to Berlin environment.

Thank you.
