Race to Berlin League System

2026-10-20 09:38

Hello, Commander.

In this announcement, we would like to give you an early look at the upcoming changes to Race to Berlin.

Please review the details of the update currently in preparation, and look forward to the new Race to Berlin experience.

For more details, please see below

■ Race to Berlin League System

Race to Berlin is one of the game's signature competitive features, where servers compete for honor and glory.

However, as server strength and participation environments vary, we have consistently received feedback requesting a more competitive experience where servers of similar strength can face off against each other.

In response, the Development Team plans to introduce a new four-tier league system consisting of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, allowing servers to compete against opponents suited to their performance and achievements.

■ How Will Initial League Assignments Be Determined?

When the league system is introduced, we understand that one of the first questions Commanders may have is, "Which league will our server start in?"

• Initial League Assignments

Servers eligible to participate in Race to Berlin will be provisionally assigned to one of the four leagues based on their past performance.

The initial league distribution will be as follows:

Platinum: 16%, Gold: 36%, Silver: 32%, Bronze: 16%

These initial assignments will be based on previous Race to Berlin records. Over time, promotions and demotions based on seasonal results will adjust each server's league to better reflect its actual performance.

※ The percentage distribution across leagues may vary slightly depending on the number of participating servers.

• New Servers and Merged Servers

New servers will begin in the Bronze League.

If servers have been merged, the merged server will inherit the highest league among the servers that existed before the merger.

• Race to Berlin Preliminaries

Race to Berlin Preliminaries will be discontinued with the introduction of the league system.

New servers will also be able to participate in Race to Berlin directly from the Bronze League.

■ League Operations

• Opponent Matching

Servers will be matched against other servers within the same league.

If there is an odd number of participating servers, one server at the bottom of the rankings may be excluded from that round.

• Server Rating Points

Race to Berlin performance will be measured using rating points accumulated based on battle results.

At the start of each season, servers will receive an initial rating. Their ratings will then increase or decrease according to the results of each battle.

In addition to wins and losses, the rating system is being designed to account for differences in strength between opposing servers, as well as winning and losing streaks, to provide a fairer representation of each server's actual performance.

※ The specific rating calculation values are still under development and may change by the time the update is released.

• Promotions and Demotions

At the end of each season, a predetermined number of servers will be promoted to the next higher league or demoted to the next lower league based on their rankings within their current league.

For example, in the Gold League, top-performing servers will be promoted to Platinum, while lower-ranked servers will be demoted to Silver.

■ Race to Berlin UI Improvements

Along with the introduction of the league system, the Race to Berlin interface will also be updated.

The opponent information screen, Race to Berlin entry screen, and seasonal rewards screen will display each server's league, ranking, and promotion or demotion status.

Explanations of the league system will also be added to the Help section to ensure that Commanders can easily understand the new system, even if they are encountering it for the first time.

■ Changes to World and Server Ranking Rewards by League

Individual ranking rewards and the newly introduced seasonal rewards will vary depending on a server's league and its ranking within that league.

Servers that achieve better results in higher leagues will receive greater rewards. Existing rewards, such as the Victory Server Buff, will remain unchanged.

• New Race to Berlin Selection Box

A new Race to Berlin Selection Box will be added to the World Ranking and Server Ranking rewards.

※ The number of Selection Boxes awarded will vary by league.

※ From the new Race to Berlin Selection Box, you can choose one of the following: T28 Tank Destroyer Piece ×1 or [Race to Berlin] Squad Leader Card ×2

• Other Ranking Reward Changes

※ 1st Class Offensive Order, previously awarded as World and Server Ranking rewards, will be converted into War Coins, with an increased quantity provided.

※ Rewards will vary by league for each ranking bracket. In lower ranking brackets, the ranking ranges eligible for certain rewards may also differ depending on the league.

※ The Race to Berlin titles awarded for achieving 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in the World Rankings during Race to Berlin will remain unchanged.

■ Changes to Berlin Conquest League Score Requirements

With the introduction of the league system, the score requirements for Berlin Conquest will vary by league.

※ Berlin Conquest rewards will remain the same regardless of league.

■ Changes to PvE Content by League

• Maximum Number of AFV Platoon by League

• Maximum Number of Special AFV Platoon by League

• Maximum Number of Squadron by League

• Maximum Number of Elite Battle Group by League

• World Boss Starting Level by League

• City and Berlin Starting Levels by League

With the introduction of the league system, the maximum number of units in Race to Berlin PvE content and the starting level for Berlin will vary depending on the league.

Through these changes, we hope to make Race to Berlin more exciting by allowing servers of similar strength to compete against each other and by providing rewards that better reflect their achievements.

※ The information provided above is currently under development. Details such as league composition, assignment methods, and the number of servers promoted or demoted may change when the update is implemented.

※ All changes described above, including league rewards, score requirements, PvE unit counts, and starting levels, are subject to change before the final update is released.

We will continue to listen to the feedback you share throughout your gameplay and make ongoing improvements to deliver a fairer and more enjoyable Race to Berlin experience.

Thank you.
